Successful completion of the noise protection project in Brey
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the noise protection project in Brey. As part of the project, extensive measures were implemented to sustainably reduce rail traffic noise in the Middle Rhine Valley. One of the central measures was the construction of modern noise barriers.
We are particularly proud of the fact that KRINNER Ground Screws played a decisive role in this project. This innovative solution enabled vibration-free and low-noise fixing of the noise barriers - an alternative that is ideal for use in sensitive areas. Another advantage: the use of the screw foundations helped to significantly shorten Deutsche Bahn's closure times and thus keep to the project schedule.
The Middle Rhine Valley is one of the regions in Germany most affected by rail traffic and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The implementation of noise protection measures therefore requires the utmost precision and consideration for the surrounding area. Thanks to the cooperation of all those involved, this goal was achieved.
We would like to thank all the partners who made this project possible and are proud to have made a contribution to the quality of life of residents in the Middle Rhine Valley. Further information can be found on the project website: www.leiseres-mittelrheintal.de.
